      Description

The top bar is getting uglier. This jira is a test of prof of concept about what could be done in 4-5 days to make it leaner.

One idea could be to get ride of the checkboxes and do like dropbox. to
navigate you would need to click on the name of the file. Note: I am not sure if this is a good idea! More a test of concept!

One idea would be to enable a right click to do copy/move/link etc?

Maybe we could inline edit user/perms/names? (right click?)

Wondering if there is a way to no lose the context when opening a file. A bit like a PDF reader that stays within the browser. Note: this might be a massive effort to merge the page so alternative ideas are welcomed. We recently made the page content scrollable for example.

We could also provide more advanced information: http://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.4.0/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-hdfs/WebHDFS.html#Status_of_a_FileDirectory (replication, accessTime and 2, 3 more) The idea would be to make it available but very clean and not intruisive as it is not used often (maybe a stat button or on hover)

+ link to Security app at some point if perms.
