While most of the Hue is stateless, the Impala application backend has to maintain a socket connection to Impala in order to maintain the session. This causes 2 problems:
1. Hue cannot be restarted without disconnecting those sessions.
2. For load balancing and HA, we are forced to do sticky sessions in order to make sure all requests are routed to the same Hue instance.
While we could create a proxy to hold the Impala sessions, it'd be better to have this fixed upstream.
