Description
Original JIRA Summary: You are a Hue admin but not a HDFS superuser, "hdfs" or part of HDFS supergroup, "supergroup
User "bones", who is a "super user", is trying to delete directories in hive but gets this error:
Cannot perform operation. Note: you are a Hue admin but not a HDFS superuser, "hdfs" or part of HDFS supergroup, "supergroup". AccessControlException: Permission denied by sticky bit setting: user=bones, inode=all_quakes_30 (error 403)
According to admin, "bones" is a super user. Super user of what? If this is not enough, if the administrator needs to set HDFS permissions at the command line, etc, the message needs to be more clear.
The user wants to know, what does it take to get the appropriate permissions to perform this action?
