            With the API changes in hadoop-0.20, if you submit a job asynchronously using Job.submitJob(), there is no way to get the job identifier.

            A defect was filed and fixed in 0.20.3, however it doesn't look like Cloudera included it in CDH2. Can we get this patched into CDH2?

            Not sure if this is fixed in your CDH3 beta so including on "affects version" list.
