hadoop-zookeeper-server install fails silently after 'apt-get remove' uninstall.

            Description

            After uninstalling and removing many remnants of a previous hadoop-zookeeper-server, via 'apt-get remove hadoop-zookeeper', a new install looks like it succeeds and starts. However, it actually fails to start an does so without warning the user.
