            Description

            This is a subtask for the umbrella plugin JIRA jeff entered. This jira will address many, my not all, of those issues:

            1) updated docs w/ step by step instructions
            2) plugin heirarchy
            3) simple examples of sink/source/decorator
            4) build environment
