Description
Currently when a node is stopped/shutdown, e.g. by flume-daemon.sh, the process is simply killed. There are currently no shutdown hooks to allow any cleanup to happen. This is particularly important in the case of sources which have internal buffers, such as the SyslogTcpSourceThreads. When using this source, messages will potentially be lost, even when using the E2E reliability mode.
