5.2 full of brokeness

I had a nice cluster running under 5.13, however after upgrading to 5.2 lots of stuff broke. I had to re-install Hive. When I created an external table in Hive, and then queried it in Impala, impala spat out lots of error messages which are gone now.

But the most serious issue is with Solr Search. I created a DashBoard with several facets, and while some update, others like the Grid and Timeline just hang with that silly spinning dot circle.

Also, when I add a date based text facet, and try and click on a date range filter, I get this error "Invalid Date String:'2014-09-23T06'".

This all worked perfectly under CDH 5.13.
