      Description

Since Hive's syntax is so temperamental my first (and subsequent dozen or so) attempt(s) to write a query often fail. I'm writing a query I expect to run often, so naturally I'm trying to save it. After trying (unsuccessfully) to execute my query, trying to save my revisions fails.

      Observations:

      • Clicking "save" makes the UI look busy for a moment.
      • The popup saying "query X save" doesn't happen.
      • The query's name sometimes changes to "Unsaved query" after clicking save.
      • The query definitely was not saved, at least not under the previously designated name.

At this point in order to revise and re-try my query I must return to the saved query list and re-open it. Then I get one more execution attempt before having to re-open it again. Very frustrating.
