Recovery of Google account
When you are unable to use your Google account, you can follow the steps of recovery, as mentioned below:
- Initially, go to https://go/recover in your web browser.
- Enter your Google username or email address in the field and proceed.
- On the next page, click on the link of the Forgot password, to get the recovery options.
- You can choose among the recovery options:
- An old password for the account
- The date when the account was created
- Recovery phone number
- Alternate email address
- If you choose the phone number and email address, a security code is sent.
- When you enter the code correctly, you will get the option to create a new password for the account.
- You must enter the password twice, to save it.
- Finally, after saving the details, you can access your Google account with this new password.
