change_default_password config Not working in latest hue versions

problem statement : 

i configured my hue.ini as below : 

[desktop]
[[auth]]
change_default_password=true

and tried to create an user and logged in as created user.

the default password has to be changed upon login for first time,

But its not happening.

Also the Logged-in user is not able to check his profile or change password.

its always redirecting to home page.
