Add composite dataset API

The underlying HBase DAO implementation has a feature whereby independent datasets that reside in the same table can be composed as a single dataset for reading or writing. If one of the constituent entities has an OCC field then the whole composite entity can be atomically updated via get/update/put.

It would be useful to consider whether/how we need to extend the existing API to support composite datasets.
