Put examples in a separate github repo

The examples are currently a part of the multi-module build for CDK. It would be more approachable for users if the examples were a collection of independent maven modules (i.e. not multimodule). Putting them in a separate repository probably makes sense too, so they are not cluttered by unrelated CDK build code.
