            Description

            Apparently Hive's API in org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata is not public (witness the incompatible changes fixed by CDK-550). We should use the classes in org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore and org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.api.
