            Description

            When starting up record service, we see a config issue:
            I0218 16:57:06.478405 57171 status.cc:112] ERROR: short-circuit local reads is disabled because

            • cannot read or execute the parent directory of dfs.domain.socket.path

            It only happens on nodes without running DNs and we should fix the verification logic.
