Empty "columns" clause leads to null pointer exception

e.g. sqoop import ... --table customers --columns ""

As you'd expect - garbage in, garbage out.
Anyhow, it'd be a bit nicer to tell the user they're an idiot than to A.V.

(It also A.V.s if there is a column specified - but it doesn't exist in the table.)
